Windows
NT 4.0 and Windows 2000 do not offer strong security options allowing
administrators to manage logon and logoff in domains.
UserLock
solves this features lack by tracking, notifying and securing the logon/logoff
activity of your domains.
UserLock
runs as a Windows NT service and is based on agents that are automatically
deployed without needing any end-user intervention. The software is
also compatible with Windows 9x or Windows Me operating systems without
securing them.
Features
- Limits
simultaneous logons for specified users or groups on the network
-
Ability to set workstation restrictions by computer name or by IP
ranges.
- Sends
notifications (E-Mail or popup) on successful logon and logoff or when
a logon is rejected.
-
Inserts all logon/logoff events and all lock/unlock events in an ODBC
database .
-
Workstation sessions and terminal sessions are supported
-
Displays and prints reports about user sessions history and about
sessions statistics.
