Collaborate

Virtual Whiteboard
NetSupport School features a full page
Whiteboard integrated directly within the
Tutor console supported with a wealth of
drawing tools for improved collaboration
within the classroom.
The Whiteboard feature also allows a Teacher
to add content before making it available to
the rest of the class, and can simply
"toggle" access and visibility. At any point
a Tutor can pass control to a selected
Student to allow them to collaborate and add
content to the active session.
Internet Co-Browse
New to NetSupport School is a full internet
Co-Browse feature. This allows a Teacher to
open selected websites and synchronise this
with the browser on each Student PC. As a
Teacher navigates across a website the
Student PCs will follow, even scrolling down
on a specific page in sequence with the
Tutor.
Once the Tutor has opened the desired pages these can be left available to the Students as information Tabs, and they can be left to review the content without access to any additional websites.
Group Leaders
Recognising that Students work at different
speeds, NetSupport School encourages group
work where a nominated Student can be
assigned certain Tutor rights and act as a
Group Leader until such privileges are
revoked. All features provided to the Group
Leader can be customised to meet the needs
of the working session.
Group or 1:1 Chat
Open a discussion session that all or
selected Students can join, enter their
comments and share with the rest of the
class: Ideal for conducting class or limited
group forums. During this Chat session, an
interactive Whiteboard is available to
improve understanding. Chat sessions also
feature full bi-directional audio support.
Audio
Broadcast Audio to the class or transmit the
Tutor's voice during a presentation. Audio
transmitted during a live presentation is
also saved, when selected, in a replay file.
The Replay file allows a Student to review a
screen presentation at their leisure with
the accompanying Teachers explanation. Audio
support is included in all Show Screen,
Remote Control and Chat sessions.
Exhibit
(Student Screen)
In addition to showing a Teachers screen to
the rest of the class, NetSupport School
also allows a Teacher to select a Students
computer and broadcast their screen to the
rest of the class. Perfect for highlighting
coursework or sharing Student feedback.
Student Information Bar.
NetSupport School now features a Student
Information bar, neatly located at the top
of each Student Screen. This can be set to
be always visible or to auto-hide.
The information bar provides feedback to the
student on the current lesson, time
remaining, current websites and applications
that are available, the status of messenger
and keyboard monitoring and quick access to
request help.
